total time |
my bh505 goes off after a few beeps(to warn you battery low), but the ipod classic goes off in another 3 mins later. therefore, both the battery life are quite on par.
near 12 hours of play time should be enough for most people. for me, i only listen to it 2 hrs/day during commuting. therefore, only requires charging once per week for both of this gadget.
the sound quality from ipod->i10s->bh505, is quite ok. i have tried the same songs from iphone 4s using bluetooth to bh505, and i never notice any difference in sound quality between the two. the loudness from ipod to bh505 is very acceptable. mainly due to bh505 itself is an in-ear headset. the ear plug can comes in 6 sizes and you definitely can find one that snug comfortably into your ears.
a little something i discovered about i10s:
1. if you turn off both i10s and bh505, you need to turn on ur bh505 first and by pressing the play button, you are required to wait for around 15 secs before the connection from i10s comes in.
2. during the connection, you can see the blue led at i10s lights up, blink slowly the faster, the back to blink slow.
3. if you hear a beep, and no song comes from ipod, you might need to press the play button on your bh505 again.
overall:
3.5/5 star rating from me. i10s is small enough to be carried around. but problem is it does consume quite a fair bit of battery from your ipod classic as the normal battery life from the ipod should be around 36hrs according to apple website (http://www.apple.com/ipodclassic/specs.html). but for the convenience of going wireless, this is the price you got pay.
